Personally I think it looks great unfinished. Awesome use of color variants in the same landscape.

Certainly, try bigger brushes and soften it a bit now and then, try to avoid the really small brushes because they make it look a little chickenscratchy. Also the "ring" or whatever it is is pixelated in the right image, you could easily smooth it out with the blur or smudge tool. If you go for details try to make it smoother.

Hopefully this helps you :)

Hmmm i guess you could look at more references for clouds, because in the middle one it looks a bit too cartoony compared to the realistic landscapes. Altho as speedpaintings, i say you've done a good job with establishing a believability.

Hey nice speedpaints, really! Your brush seems a little pixelated to me. Good job on the clouds though, very convincing - especially in the right speedpaint.

Thanks. I usually paint in lower resolution since my pc would slow down on some processes above 2000 pixels and most of the photo shop brushes work best at higher pixels so specially my old paintings are pixelated.

Ah, I used  to have this too old to exist computer. Working digitally with it was a pain, but it did teach me patience by not breaking it with a punch through the back - otherwise I'd only have paper and pencils and those can get repetitive and boring rather quickly :p

Haha I know what you mean. Most your paintings now look to be in high resolution. Do you work around 3000? or do you work larger and then make it smaller.
One time I remember I was painting this massive painting, I was going so good, I had yellow, violet color scheme with some cyan here and there and this naked women in a royal harem who was laying infront of a window. I was only 1 hour or so in so it wasn't like the biggest lost but the foundation was very good, the painting was reading brilliantly if you know what I mean. Anyway for some god damn reason I forgot to save it and I picked a high res airbrush to add some fog atmosphere and then BAMM the pc froze. Waaaah!    Even on lower res its a paint in the but to use stuff like smudge tool and ...

Well traditional has its own fun side too. Do you find pen and pencil boring?
